The Adventures Continue

The week has been full of exploring and using the big dogs as a jungle gym. At almost 12, Dash is still loves the puppies and is willing to play his part.

They have had fun playing in their adventure box, while continuing to listen to their de-sensitization sounds.

At the end of the day, a tired puppy is a well behaved puppy.

Party With The Goldens

The days are spent ganging up on each other and the big dogs. While they play, the de-sensitization noises continue, bothering them not a lick.

The milk wagon is still the go-to choice...

...but the smoothies are never turned down!

In the meantime, the whelping box is full! It does take a village, or at least, that's the motto (there is also another nanny waiting outside the box).

They have become so much fun now!

And then, it's time to eat again.

And sleep.

And sleep some more.

Koda Puppies Rocking Week 4

Life is an adventure! They have found their sea legs and have become expert at making a break for it anytime the whelping box door is open.

The puppy smoothies have been a big hit and they noisily put in an order every time they wake up.

Koda waits patiently to clean up any remaining food.

And then they are out...

With twitchy puppy dreams (a twitchy puppy is a healthy puppy!)

They are beginning to expand their horizons. They have found all of the nooks and crannies in their whelping room. Next, other areas of the house will be explored. In the meantime, they continue to have fun with each other and their nanny.

Until next time...

Fat and Sassy Goldens

They have found their voices and they aren't afraid to let us know about it!

The nannies continue their socialization duties, as well as being jungle gyms.

While they are starting to play hard, they sleep even harder!!

Fingers are a tasty treat!

Several of the puppies have small white patches on their foreheads. Once their adult coat comes in, you won't see the white, though one of the males (Red) may have a touch left. He is easy to pick out, has been the first out of the whelping box and is Mr. Personality.

Since their ears have opened, they have been serenaded by our Noise De-sensitization CDs. They've been listening to thunder storms, babies crying, construction noises, as well as a host of other sounds they will encounter in years to come. If you see the Puppy Wrangler with ear plugs, you'll know why!

The Labs Are Getting Big!

It's their third week and they are discovering each other, as well as their voices!

Though they still spend a lot of time power napping, sometimes with their nanny. (Yes, the nanny is a golden!)

Puppy smoothies will be on the menu next week. Koda is putting out plenty of milk, but with eleven puppies, they need to have some additional food.
